The article below is out of date as it has now been confirmed that Craig Bellamy has now moved to his hometown club Cardiff on a two-year deal. Brendan Rodgers hinted earlier this week that Bellamy's imminent move was for non-footballing reasons.
Clearly Bellamy was good enough to be playing for Liverpool this coming season but if the rumours are right that he has moved back for family reasons, then Liverpool's loss is Cardiff's gain. Cardiff will be getting a proven Premiership player with loads of good football still in him.
