Luis Suarez has regularly and repeatedly commented on how happy he is to be at Liverppol. Despite this the tabloids are forever dragging up “Suarez is leaving” or “Suarez may leave” rumours.
In all honesty Liverpool fans should not begrudge Luis Suarez playing at the highest level possible as he is good enough to play in any team in the world. Personally, I have been saying for a while now that he looks perfect for Barcelona. Quick feet, tricky, can go past players, scores goals, great individual and team player and he has a very high work rate.
Since the original article reported in the Liverpool Echo saying that Suarez may consider leaving, Suarez has said that his original comments have been “lost in translation” and that he wants to stay.
Without a doubt all Liverpool fans want Suarez to stay. He is truly world-class, loves the club and has many years left in him. Whatever the ultimate outcome the rumours will persist and gather pace all through the summer. Let us help that the owners back Brendan Rodgers in the summer and that Rodgers himself spends any money wisely.
Many observers say that we are not that far away from a top team that will challenge, but of course to be in the best possible position to challenge we need to keep our best players and add a few more.
