Labelled as one of our bogey teams and going by some of our previous results against “should win” teams, Saturday’s trip to the DW Stadium was not an easy fixture to negotiate. But thanks to a disciplined display and the inventiveness and wizardy of that footballing magician, better known as Luis Suarez, three points were earned in a very comfortable manner in the end.

As well as Luis Suarez there were so many more great performances. Not many of us knew what to expect when he signed and even though it is early days, Philippe Coutinho does look the real deal based on his first few performances. It is too early to say whether he will become a star, but if he continues with his early promise we may find that we have signed a really good player.
