On This Day 5th August 2009
On this day 5th August 2009 was a very sad day indeed. Well, it was for me and many other Liverpool fans no doubt. It was on this day that fans favourite, Xabi Alonso, left us to join Real Madrid. He was indeed a big loss for us and a great signing for Real Madrid. […]
The New Zinedine Zidane
It’s hard enough to make it as a professional footballer as it is. But when you have made it and looking to develop your career does a new label really help you? I don’t think so. Even more so, when the label placed on you is heralding you as a successor to one of the […]
Javier Mascherano
There will be plenty of talk today about the possible signing of Nabil Fekir being confirmed today. Fekir will be a great asset no doubt if he does sign. He can play as a midfielder, or in the front three. If used as a midfielder it would mean that our whole midfield has had a […]

So many more of Gerrard’s to remember as well. How much time would you have relive the many belters from Luis Suarez? Robbie Fowler […]
Farewell To A Legend-Steven Gerrard
In many quarters, especially with Stoke City fans, the 24th May 2015 will be remembered for Liverpool’s 6-1 hammering that day. But to Liverpool fans it meant more than that. As bad as the memory of that defeat is, we would like fonder memories to relive. The day represented a “Farewell To A Legend-Steven Gerrard” […]
Liverpool 3 Manchester City 2 – Now We Are Beginning To Believe!!
In recent months test after test have been placed before Liverpool and to their credit they have not only overcome most of the hurdles placed before them but have done so with some style and panache. Sunday was no exception. Each year for the last 25 years the home game nearest to the anniversary of […]
West Ham 1 Liverpool 2 – The Reds Edge Closer
Many pundits often say that to be a successful team you have to acquire the acumen or the nous to win ugly. In other words, to be able to win a match even though you are not playing particularly well. The sign of true champions is to be able to grind out a result when […]
