Another transfer saga that will no doubt rumble on throughout the summer will be whether Andy Carroll will return to Liverpool and become a part of the Brendan Rodgers school of tiki-taka. Carroll was quite unlucky in a way because he was Liverpool’s best player for the last 10 to 12 games or so in the 2011/12 season.
Clearly Brendan Rodgers was not that impressed because he was prepared to start this season being light on striker options. He has had mixed fortunes while on loan at West Ham. He has suffered quite a few injuries but most recently he has hit a bit of form and consistency. Will he make it at Liverpool and fit in? Only time and Brendan Rodgers will tell.
