Not sure what other fans are thinking but does this sound like Martin Skrtel is getting his excuses or reasons in early? His comments do not sound like the thoughts of a player who is 100% committed to the cause. But then of course it could just be paper talk (now there's a shock!!). Whatever happens, we will be able to replace him easy enough.
Don't get me wrong I like Skrtel but if the reported fee of £20m is correct then let him move on if he wants to. He had a great season last time out but I still think he is prone to giving away needless free kicks in dangerous areas. A weakness he has had since he joined us. If he stays however then he will continue to form his impressive partnership with Daniel Agger.

Without doubt last season was Martin Skrtel's best season for Liverpool. Was this down to his own overall improvement, better coaching from Steve Clarke or accepting graeter responsibility while other centre-backs pairings were out injured.
