How are your heads today? Mine is a bit delicate. A few too many beers but why not? How often do we get to celebrate reaching a Champions League final? Funny I should say that. Why’s that? Well, on this day 3rd May is another special date in our illustrious history.
On This Day 17th April
With West Brom up next for The Reds, it may be worth remembering on this day 17th April. Kenny Dalglish scored the winner on this day 17th April 1982 against The Baggies at Anfield. Kenny’s 71st minute strike earned Liverpool a ninth consecutive victory.
On This Day 15th April
All Liverpool fans know only too well the significance of what happened on this day 15th April. The exact date of course was on this day 15th April, 1989. Twenty nine years to the day when in the region of 25,000 Liverpool fans attended a football match, but 96 did not make it home.
On This Day 12th April
Has everyone calmed down now after the euphoria of Tuesday night? What a great night. What a great result. One of Liverpool’s finest away European performances to add to the many others. Now things have calmed down a bit, all eyes on this Saturday when we play Bournemouth at Anfield.
